This is the state capitol building. It’s pretty much at the top of the hill of the city.

The inside of the Capital…nearly completely made of marble.

After the seminar was over, I took some time to relax then met up with the photographer friends in the area. We went bowling (no pictures of that, sorry,) and had lots of fun. After we finished up bowling, Josh Gene was kind enough to be my local tour guide. It was relatively late, especially for a Sunday night, so there wasn’t as much active night life. Even with the lack of the busy streets, It was really nice to see a new city.

and of course, you can’t visit Seattle with out mentioning Starbucks. This one below is the FIRST ever Starbucks. (I even saw a 2-story Starbucks out here too…apparently it is pretty common here. I’m used to the corner stores and the ones inside other buildings.)
