Lee Anne and Ken – Wedding

A couple weeks back, I photographed Lee Anne and Ken’s wedding. This day turned out to be SO much fun – It’s also a great day when you walk in and the first thing the bride does is give you a hug hello! Lee Anne, Ken and their family and friends were extra friendly and very open to try some new and fun ideas!  It may have been a long day… Driving from Holland, to near Wayne, NJ for the ceremony, then all the way over to almost Mt. Pocono back in PA… then home! …. but the images were worth it:)

I even got to really use my new lens – a Canon 24mm f/1.4 – it’s a dream of a lens.  More on it in later posts.

Here are a few (just so many to choose from) from the day…  a slideshow of their album is below.  Look for the comments that they wrote about what they thought!

From Lee Anne and Ken . . .
Oh Erik! I cannot describe how amazing I think that the pictures look. You are truly gifted. Ken and I watched the slideshow three times before going to bed.  Now I have woken before sunrise thinking of them again. I can’t thank you enough.
You have received nothing but praise from all the guests and your work is incredible. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Melanie and Tom – Engagement Session

I met up with Melanie and Tom this past week at Neshaminy state Park. Their wedding is coming up soon at the end of October.

There are a lot of details that I am looking forward to for this wedding. Pen Ryn Mansion is going to be a lot of fun to shoot at.   Melanie is having a custom dress designed by the talented Darcy Law. And from what Mel and Tom tell me, this is gonna be a fun group!

The engagement session was a lot of fun, they even brought their daschund, Cole (named after Melanies favorite Philadelphia Philly – take a wild guess).  I’ll admit, he may have stole the show a couple of time;).

Here’s a preview of the engagement session.

Keri and Jon – Bucks County Wedding

It may have rained the day before, and even a little after the ceremony, but when it counted… We had dry skies:)

Keri and Jon were married on a private farm in Furlong (in the heart of Central Bucks County).  The entire setup was beautiful and their guests had a great time.

Starting out with the guys for some relaxed portraits, I headed over to meet up with the ladies just down the street.  They were close enough, that instead of the customary limo, they had a horse and carriage bring them to the ceremony.  It honestly, was like a fairytale story.

Enjoy a few from the day!

I got to help my friend Stacie Lech again!  Stacie and I have worked a lot together, so we know how each is going to work and it makes the day so much more fun!

Chelley and Dave – 2nd Shoot

I love working with other photographers – especially ones I haven’t worked with yet.  Why?  Because I love making new friends, plus we each always learn and help out in different ways.

A few weeks back, I helped Michael Allebach photograph Chelley and Dave’s wedding at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

Just a few background images from the day!

We’ve Moved!

Well, it is always a tough and exhausting thing to do, but we’ve done it.  I have relocated from Warrington to the beautiful Holland, PA area.

Having grown up in this area, it feels much more like home, and it’s great to live around friends within walking distance!

There is still some little decorating to do and things to hang, but everything is in!
