This past weekend was Jaclyn and Ryan’s wedding. We had me up a few months ago in Bristol for their engagement photo session.
We started out at the Jaclyn’s parents house, with the ladies getting ready. We then moved just down the street to St. Francis Cabrini church in Fairless Hills. After a few quick family portraits at the church, we headed over to Bucks County Community College for the bridal party pictures. When we got there, there were 2 other groups leaving. As we were working with Jaclyn and Ryan, and 3 groups showed up! Not sticking to the traditional – with help from my good friend Mark Gardner, who came to second shoot with me for a change, we found some really cool out of the way settings to use.
After a short drive, we arrived at Knowlton Mansion. I have shot here before, and the wine cellar is such a cool place – along with the whole grounds.
Now, this group came to dance. The whole night, I don’t think anyone left the dance floor!
Check out a few previews from the day… and a slideshow at the bottom

Hey everyone! I am in the middle of relocating my studio and also updating to new equipment. This means that I have great stuff to get rid of.
To start, I have a Dell 24″ 2407WFP-HC Monitor and also a Dell 20″ 2007WPF-HC monitor to part with. Both monitors have treated me very well… and Photogs, these do actually calibrate very nice (a very important part of the processing steps).
For ease and cost, it would be nice to keep it local (Philly) but if you aren’t in the area, I’m sure we can work something out too.
24″ – $500
20″ – $120
Let me know if you are interested.

My good friend Eric Kash (www.erickash.com) is an extremely talented fashion photographer. Working with models as often as he does, he sees a different aspect and industry of photography than I do with weddings. To try to challenge myself and share some of my tips with him, I went along on a big model/fashion photographer get together in NJ just outside of Hoboken, a couple weeks back.
There were about 40-50 other photographers and about 20 models. Some people would be intimated in this kind of scene… but this was nothing compared to the family formal portion of a wedding day
.
I stepped up to each model and took control of the scene and directed them the way I wanted, all while there were about 7-10 other photographers shooting over my shoulder.
Here is what I got – what do you think for my first fashion shoot?

(yes, she really does have two different colored eyes!)
Back in September, I photographed Michaela and Michael’s wedding in LBI. Michaela, also a great photographer, submitted her photos to Wedding Chicks.com. Well they featured her wedding, and my images!
Check it out!
