Crista and Tom – Florentine Gardens Wedding

My last wedding of the season took me up to North Jersey again.  Crista and Tom were married at Florentine Gardens.  Crista and Tom are mutual friends of my good friend, and fellow photographer, Mandy and a fun crew from Hoboken.

During Crista and Tom’s engagement session, the 3 of us had a ton of fun walking around the pier that the spent a lot of time together working with the Relay for Life.  Fast forward to the day of the wedding, and all of that fun was added to by the level of excitement for the day!

As we got ready for the “First Look”, Tom heard Crista coming around the corner and just couldn’t help but to start smiling and laughing.  She heard the laughing and started laughing herself. It was a great time and I’m sure they will both remember that for a long time!

The ceremony was filled with happy tears and a little humor too.  Once the wedding reception kicked off, even more fun was had.  Everyone took to the dance floor and really showed that they knew how to have a good time.

Enjoy!!

Sonia and Steve – Greenville Country Club wedding

Well, Sonia and Steve’s wedding survived the first blizzard of the 2011/2012 winter!  Meeting up with both Sonia and Steve at the Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, DE we set up a nice, quiet First Look.  With the snow as the backdrop, the light coming into the room was such a nice glow.  Following the ceremony, we headed back to the country club, where I was able to steal the newly married couple away for a few more minutes for some more wedding day pictures.

Enjoy their preview!

Jen and Chris – Wedding

A couple of weeks back, Jen and Chris, got married at The Rockleigh, in New Jersey, on a beautiful late October day.  Every wedding that I was lucky to be part of this year just seems to be my favorite one – I guess I just love my job!  This one didn’t disappoint either.  Helped by my good friend, Josh Lynn, we captured a very fun group.  Peter of PF Films was on hand too – they did an fabulous job and were a pleasure to work with.

After getting ready, I traveled with the ladies to the Dewint House for Jen and Chris’ first look. (I’ll be doing a blog post about all the benefits of a first look soon)   After getting Chris in place, we brought Jen up.  These are the kind of moments I love to capture – pure uncontained happiness.  Jen couldn’t fight the happy tears back as Chris held her close and they savored the few moments before the crazy whirlwind of the day started.

The ceremony went very well, lead by Father Raul, then we all headed to the Rockleigh.  The staff at the venue did an excellent job with the decor.  As the night got underway, the guests kept the dance floor packed lead by the sounds of the band.

Here are a bunch from their day!
